Take your watercolor skills to the next level in this 8-part workshop series designed for those with prior experience. Meeting every second week at JM Atelier, the warm and welcoming studio of artist Joan Markowska, you’ll enjoy tea, coffee, and a chill atmosphere as you explore more complex techniques.

🎨 This course dives into advanced watercolor approaches — from nuanced layering and dynamic blending to experimenting with larger paper formats and refined brushwork. Whether you’re returning to the medium or seeking to push your creative boundaries, this is your space to grow.

📚 As a unique bonus, the course includes free art and architecture history classes every second week.

🧵 All necessary supplies are provided as part of the course—so you can focus fully on your creativity.

We meet on Thursdays at 17:30 for a total of 8 workshops starting early September. Workshops are 2,5 hours long. Here are the session dates:

Can’t attend a session? Occasional open studio time is offered to help you catch up or paint freely in a supportive environment.
